HAS KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC ANNOUNCED DATE FOR ITS MATRICULATION CEREMONY ?

Yes ! The Management of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja has announced Thursday 24th March, 2022 as the latest date for 29th Matriculation Ceremony for the 2021/2022 academic session. 

This information was disclosed by the Rector and Chairman of the Academic Board, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman who said that some necessary arrangements had been made to have a colourful and successful Matriculation which he said would be held simultaneously at both the Lokoja and Itakpe campuses.

Secondly, the management has approved two (2) weeks’ mid-semester break for all regular students from Monday, 28th March, 2022 to Sunday,10th April, 2022. Thirdly, all classes/lectures would resume on Monday, 11th April, 2022.

Dr. Usman reiterated the Management and Academic Board’s commitment to making education attractive, and prioritizing staff and students’ well-being.

He also charged the Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments to intensify efforts in doing the needful ahead of the forthcoming accreditation exercise.
