The issue of “No Record Found On the National Identification Number NIN” has been an alarming problem for students who are willing to register for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME and Direct Entry DE. Because of this , Some of them find it difficult to generate JAMB profile codes for 2022. WHY IS JAMB SAYING “NO RECORD FOUND” ON MY NIN WHEN TRYING TO GENERATE NIN NUMBER TO 55019?

This issue may be due to various reasons below such as :

  • Your Phone Cannot Send and Receive messages fastly.
  • Your Sim card is new
  • Your Sim card can not receive signals (Network)
  • You do not have enough airtime .

These may be the minor reasons for this issue above ,but the major issue is that, your National Identification Number ” NIN ” is not Validated Successfully during your NIN enrolment at the National Identity Management Commission NIMC office. This issue can be resolved both manually and automatically.

TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE MANUALLY ,DO THIS BELOW:

Check if the number (NIN) you send was correct. If anything is omitted, correct it. If you put space anywhere after the NIN, remove it, then retry. If they get the same error again after doing that, wait for few days and retry. Or remove the SIM card and put it in another smart phone and try again. Or rather Send Your Email with NIN and Name to nimc-jamb2022@nimc.gov.ng. and try again after 4 hours.

But the annoying thing here is that after sending your details to this email above , you do not get any respond at all from NIMC. So its actually not the right step to solve this issue above. The question now is …

Visit NIMC Office (Where you enrolled for NIN )

Provide Your NIN slip For Recapturing

Once Your Details display on the screen , You will be asked to thumbprint again for the verification process to be complete.

Your Details will be submitted to JAMB immediately. And you will be asked to retry the process by sending NIN to 55019 or 66019 after the Validation processes.

NOTE: This service is not free , Some NIMC centres charges (N1,500 to 4,000) for this exercises. If you are fortunate enough , it can be done free of charge for you.
